Q:I'm reading conflicting reports of it coming with the rubber adaptors that makes it compatible with smaller diameter tubes. Does it come with them?
A:Did NOT come with 2 rubber adapters! Great!? Should have known
Q:would this fit on a paintball or airsoft guns barrel?
A:yes it would fit on either one, but it does not have a rotating joint to turn the camera forward or backwards. Only points to the sides.
Q:Googfor fourwheelers?
A:I use this mount on a turn signal stem on my motorcycle. There is no vibration evident and it should work pretty well for off road as well. The mount isn't quite as stable as it should be so you might use a dab of superglue here and there when you get it the way you want.
Q:Would this product work well for a street legal dirt bike?
A:The mount accepts a wide array of round tubes. Handlebars, seat-post or crash bars like on my Goldwing.
Q:Some reviewers say that its made from plastic but in the product description states that its made of polycarbonate and stainless steel, its this true?
A:Yes, this is true. The black parts are composed of a stiff plastic (polycarbonate) and the nuts and bolts are stainless steel. If your concerned with it breaking, I've had mine for years and it still holds strong even after being beat up by some pretty rough mounting spots.
Q:Can I use this on my Aquapod Pole?
A:you should be able to, if the pole is under 1 inch in diameter, can't remember what the specifications are, they should be in the description.
Q:Does it come with protective Liner & smaller tube adapter(.43" to .7")? I don't see it mentioned on the product desc or reviews. But, GoPro site does.
A:I bought mine on the Amazon site. It does not come with a protective liner or smaller tube adapter. Maybe the one on the GoPro site includes these extras.
Q:Will this work for a ski pole?
A:Yes

Q:How does it mount to a ski pole without actually showing the handle or bottom end?
A:I have not mounted this item to a ski pole. However, my guess would be that once the mount is secured to the pole, push the GoPro back against the pole as far as possible so that your point of view is adjacent to (away from) the pole as much as possible.

A:The adapter comes with everything you will need to use it.

A:Just received the package on 22OCT2013 and mine DID come with the rubber mounts

A:The one i received was not. I purchased from USAsouthernSTAR and Fulfilled by Amazon with Amazon Prime and received a generic maid in China mount in a clear plastic ziplock bag. I am in the process of returning it to Amazon

A:From the product description: Fits around any bar from 0.75" to 1.4" (1.9cm - 3.5cm) in diameterIt's not particularly stable on a bicycle though, can't imagine what it would be like on a snowmobile.
Q:The picture shows this right side up on the handlebars. Can you flip it the other way so it's not sticking up so high?
A:I will take a few photos tonight and post them. this item is new, unopened, and in the bag still.
Q:Does it fit the "Gopro Hero 2"?
A:Yes. It does fit the Hero 2.
Q:Does this mount swivel?
A:It can move up or down but not swivel side to side.
Q:Are the pieces that attach to the handlebar made of metal or plastic?
A:Everything that is attached is plastic as well as handlebar. Since this is plastic it makes it not safe for bike rides with vibrations or speed. That is how I lost my GoPro because my dad bike rides with lots of speed and vibration, making the plastic piece attached to the mount snap off.
Q:Good for fourwheelers?
A:You can only put at the helm of four wheelers
Q:Is this just for the Hero 3 or can it be used for the Hero 4?
A:Looks like Hero4 case mounts exactly same as hero3 and all versions. For $7, cant beat this.
Q:Would this be able to be tightened down to the size of a standard fishing rod? I would like to secure it on the handle behind the reel.
A:When fully tightened the gap is about an inch wide. So i think this clamp is too big.I think the regular mount that comes with the camera closes smaller and shpuld work.

A:Yes. The rubber adapters are so you have the ability to put on things that are a little bit smaller. So yes, it would work on a ski pole.
Q:Could I use this for a trombone slide? I have been wanting a mount for my trombone.
A:I would not recommend it

Q:My bicycle handlebars taper back. They are not straight across. Would this mount be able to swivel to the straight ahead position?
A:No, it's not oriented to mount to handlebars. the images are confusing.
