A:Yes, it works with anything you can plug a USB into. You might have to go into settings and change your sound output option to the syba device. Other than that, it should work. I use it on a Mac as well but a slightly older model.

A:If the microphone is attached to the head set, then yes. See the colors on the USB port. I have a headset with a microphone attached and it works fine. If your microphone is separate from your headset, then I think you would need another USB port for the microphone.

A:Works great on a desktop. I have two of them on my desktop, one for speakers and one for headphones. Be advised, these are best left plugged in and not mean for installing and removing over and over again. That is where people seem to experience problems.

A:I am not familiar with these specific speakers, but the unit has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, which will fit most any common (3.5mm) speaker set. I used a JBL mini-speaker with my unit and it worked fine.

A:For me it actually improved the sound quality. Got rid of the static and humming in the background and had to turn down my settings since it was louder then before and picking audio up much clearer.

A:What I found is it might be due to signal strength sort of like like JimM says but even with an old system if you can boost your Internet signal, you may be able to cut down on the choppiness.

A:I'm sorry I don't understand the question. This adapter plugs into the USB port. I plug earphones into it as well as speaker wires because the soundcard on my motherboard doesn't work.

A:Microphone port or not, with the appropriate software and a usb port it will work. Think of the device as a 'microphone port' that fits into a usb receptacle.
