A:Unfortunately this monitor does not accommodate any mounting hardware. You are pretty much stuck as a desk stand monitor.

Q:Does the monitor have a standard vesa mount on the back for use with a mutli-monitor stand?
A:It doesn't seem so. The monitor is flat in the back and has no holes or screw holes to put any kind of stand other than the one that comes with it

A:Yes screen will tilt back but not forward past straight up. Grab bottom of stand in back with one hand and top of monitor screen with other hand and tilt top of monitor back to your preference. Hope this helps.

A:Yup, Just buy an HDMI cable and it works. I've plugged my macbook pro to it.

A:It's really not designed to hang from the wall. It's actually a bit small which is why, at least for me, it's perfect as an extended monitor on my desk. Anything else was just way too big and overwhelming.

A:You can play it however there would be no point since you wouldn't get sound out of the monitor. You need to buy an xbox stereo adapter headset to get sound from your controller using any headphones you may have.

A:It looks like the 27" just has a better sale price right now. The 27" response time is also 1ms slower (but this is a negligible difference in the majority of cases). It also may be because 1440p is generally more preferable for a 27" monitor than 1080p, while 24" or 25" is thought to be better for 1080p.

A:That's one of the reasons I bought it for, but long story short. It just didn't satisfy my needs. I returned and bought an Asus for around the same price and wow! What a difference. I suggest you look into Asus or another brand for photo editing because HP's color is lacking in comparison.

A:Try reloading or updating your video driver. Sounds like it'd cutting the video signal when it sleeps, but it's not telling the display to actually power down. Mine seems to work OK...good luck!
Q:Is there a trick to tilting the monitor back? It doesn't move at all for me. It tilts so far forward that the back of the stand lifts up.
A:The angle it came with is about right for me; but mine is easy to tilt back just by pushing on the monitor where it connects with the stand. I would not want to go too far back as it could tip over.

If you have a HDMI slot on your computer and you want your monitor to function in HDMI, you would need to purchase a HDMI cable for the monitor.
