Q:Does the Limeade Blast L156X come with something to charge it? Do I need to buy a wall charger? If so, what kind?
A:Yes it comes with a USB cable that one can charge it using any computer. However, if you want to charge it without a computer, you will have to purchase a wall charger. I have been using an Apple wall charger and it works great.
Q:Do you recharge the battery pack via a USB port? Is there an optional wall outlet plug to recharge the battery pack?
A:I used a 2 amp usb charger it still takes a while but more significantly faster. SO I recommend just using any usb wall charger that is rated output of 2 amps.
Q:Can I charge devices while charging the power bank?
A:yes, but slowly. In particular, if you're charging the pack via 2 amp, and charging your device via the 1 amp, the battery pack will slowly charge. Otherwise, it is just a pass through when you're charging the pack via 2.1 amp and your device via the 2 amp output.... basically the battery pack will never charge up real…

Q:If the input-power is disconnected, does the Limefuel turn-off power to the output devices? Also does *connecting* input power interrupt outputs?
A:So long as something is plugged into the output, it pulls a charge. Unplugging or plugging in the unit to an outlet does not affect charging.

The 220v or 110v question is moot since you can charge this battery either through your computer USB or a USB adapter like the kind you get with your phone or tablet. I can't say for all devices but with iPhones and iPads, if you look at the adapter, it says that the input voltage is 100 to 240V meaning they work internationally from the Americas with it 110V standard to Europe and Asia with its 220V standard. So if the adapter you are using outputs to USB then it should charge with no problems since the USB output voltage is only 5V no matter what the incoming voltage is.

This battery pack will charge from any Micro USB source. I have tested many of them. All USB devices work on 5V so any solar panel with a USB output will provide 5v to the battery and it will charge. How well it will charge is going to vary greatly depending on the wattage (and ultimately current) provided by the solar panel. The typical 12w to 16w portable panels put out a theoretical maximum charge rate of 2 to 3 amps at 5 volts. However, Micro USB cables are typically limited to 2 amps and that is under the best conditions. Most small portable solar panels seem to put out closer to 1 amp in good conditions. This means it would take at least 18 hours of uninterrupted sun to charge this battery pack from zero charge. Also, because this battery pack is black, placing it in the sun with the solar panel will make it very hot and much less efficient. Ideally, you would want the solar panel in the sun and the battery pack in the shade. I have been ecstatic with this battery pack. It has worked flawlessly. But when depleted, it definitely takes a while to charge because of its capacity.
